LOT 01:

FullSizeRender 3.jpg

This 1930's railroad barn in Marfa, Texas is being offered via silent auction, aufmarket. Offers will be accepted through April 11, 2017. The structure has been carefully refurbished from the inside out in an effort to maintain the character of the original building. Updates took course over 18 months, encompassing the reinforcement and leveling of the current structure, two layers of interior insulation, newly constructed cedar ceiling, and wood floors finished with a cotton-white Rubio monocoat. The trusses and beams are original.

The kitchenette features custom options & butcher block countertop with a U-Line 1000 drawer refrigerator. The front door is from an antique shop in San Angelo and local fabricators, The Cashiola Bros, built the custom steel window frames and rear swing-out door. Green lamps on the exterior were sourced from Southeast Texas, while the interior features vintage barn pendant lights from Restoration Hardware. And, finally, we retained the original handrail - an old metal headboard from a twin bed, sawed in half.
